After a lifetime of being an Ohio girl, I am absolutely agog at the wonders of the mountains.  I fell in love with the Sierra and hiking my way through it.  Currently, we are spending our summers working in mountains, our holidays working as elves, and the first 4 months of each year doing whatever we please.  I am nothing but happy with my decision to give up my “real job” to work seasonally and live deliberately.
